Smooth Pavement Cycling

This is just a subset of the bike trailer data posted earlier. The G-forces experienced in the bike trailer on smooth pavement are really quite minor. (First graph below, the spike in the middle is a gravel turnaround section.)

The RMS G-force data are less than the kid experiences being carried around in a carrier during a walk across the yard and down the same trail (graph below, Baby Bjorn carrier), and less than you produce when you’re bouncing the baby to amuse or sooth it.
